Private Mediation · Confidential by Design
Deadlock Mediation resolves disputes that have stopped moving — privately, decisively, and without the cost, delay, or public record of a courtroom.
The Case for Mediation
Most disputes don't need a verdict. They need a deal both sides can live with — reached while there's still a relationship, a business, or a reputation worth protecting.
The Process
A confidential conversation to understand the dispute, the parties, and what a good outcome looks like.
Position statements, key documents, and ground rules — so session time goes to solving, not scene-setting.
Joint and private sessions that surface real interests, test options, and move both sides off their opening positions.
Terms are drafted and signed before anyone leaves the room — or the virtual one.
Every dispute has a number, a sentence, and a handshake that both sides could accept. We find them.
Where We Work
Deadlock handles private disputes across business, property, and personal matters.
Contract breaches, vendor and customer disputes, payment and performance conflicts.
Ownership splits, buyouts, governance standoffs, and founder disagreements.
Workplace conflicts, separation terms, and agreements that need a clean landing.
Change orders, defects, boundary and lease disputes, and closing conflicts.
Where family and finances collide: succession, inheritance, and shared assets.
Resolve it before a complaint is filed — or pause a case that's already burning budget.
How We Operate
What's said in mediation stays in mediation. No transcripts, no public record.
We don't take sides, assign blame, or hand down verdicts. Ever.
You decide what to accept. No agreement is imposed, and nothing is signed unless you choose it.
Sessions on your calendar, in person or remote — not on a court's docket.
Questions
A structured, confidential negotiation guided by a neutral third party. The mediator doesn't decide who's right — they help the parties find terms they can both accept.
Once the parties sign a written settlement agreement, it is generally enforceable like any other contract. Your attorney can advise on the specifics for your matter.
Not required, but welcome. Many parties bring counsel; others consult them in the background. We work comfortably either way.
We can make the first approach on your behalf — neutrally and without pressure. Many reluctant parties say yes once they understand the process.
You lose nothing. Many matters resolve in part, narrowing the issues, and your right to pursue other options stays intact.
Tell us what's stuck. Inquiries are confidential and there's no obligation to proceed.
